Colonel Fort Jaco sits in a lush and pleasant district. It was born out of a desire to create a unique, unparalleled place: somewhere timeless and effortlessly stylish. The restaurant’s cuts are proudly displayed at the butcher's counter located at the edge of the kitchen. We also have a vast rotisserie installed, so our menu here features poultry dishes. Designed as an introduction to its older sibling in the city centre, Colonel Fort Jaco has had no trouble in projecting its own comfortable, confident, inimitable style, and is now a not-to-be-missed venue in the south of Brussels.

 

Your profile

You have a passion for catering and gastronomy. You have experience as a second chef/sous-chef and display natural leadership and team management abilities. You are fluent in French or English. You have high levels of cleanliness and organisation, with impeccable knowledge of hygiene and safety standards. You are efficient and responsible, work well under pressure and maintain a consistently positive attitude. Cooking is your passion: you delight in passing on your knowledge to others and leading a young and dynamic team along with our Chef.


Your responsibilities

-       Support the Chef with their daily tasks (daily supervision of setup and service, managing teams, food and equipment, etc.)

-       Oversee the kitchen teams along with the Chef

-       Assist the Chef during service

-       Maintain hygiene and safety standards

-       Provide leadership in the kitchen alongside our Chef

 

Our offer

- Full-time job (38h/week)

- Attractive salary

- 5 days/week (Lunch service/ Break /Dinner service)
